The Greatest Commitment

For years, journaling has helped me capture many special life moments. Today I am sharing with you an entry dated July 21, 1985:
I had no idea how these words would transform my life –
    from pain to peace …  depression to joy …                weakness to strength.   
Never for one moment have I regretted one word of this commitment. 
“You will be my people, and I will be your God … And be sure of this: I am with you always, even  of the end of the age."
