Fragile

Life is fragile live it liberally today those around us who need hope are depending on it The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. – Psalm 103:15-16 Photo: Pampas Grass Taken at: Norfolk Botanical Garden

A Brand New Day

Image
After returning from taking my niece Lorna to her business, I exited the interstate at 6:01am yesterday, and this sighting was breathtaking. The side street gave me time to capture these two photos and as I did, my heart birthed this prayer: Father I thank you for the beauty of a brand new day another opportunity to love and to be loved to forgive and to be forgiven to speak kind words to hope to dream to expect to fulfill the plan that you have for my life in Jesus' name,      Amen! Listen to my voice in the morning, LORD. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly ~ Psalm 5:3 (NIV) Previously posted 5/24/2011

Happy Resurrection Season

Image
Not only did the Resurrection of Jesus Christ defy death, but promises the same for we who believe in Him. Jesus said, "Don't be so surprised! Indeed, the time is coming when all the dead in their graves will hear the voice of God's Son, and they will rise again.” (John 5:28-29~NLT) Paul the Apostle wrote in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17~NLT), “For the Lord himself will come down from Heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves.” The Resurrection … a great historic event that promises hope over life after death. Happy Resurrection Season. Sunrise Variations

Image
The sun was scheduled to rise at 7:15 am last Tuesday. I stood on the boardwalk in the cold blustery morning along with the Eastern sky, watching ... shivering … waiting … eager.  We were not disappointed. The day arrived in splendor,  with magnificence, and breathed fresh hope in my heart.   I pray that you enjoy these sunrise variations as much as I enjoyed capturing them on film! Those who live at the ends of the earth stand in awe of your wonders. From where the sun rises to where it sets, you inspire shouts of joy. Psalm 65:8 (NLT)   Photos: Oceanfront Virginia Beach, Va .
