the beauty of creation never ceases to amaze me and as Spring made its dazzling entrance this week I too joined nature’s welcome chorus!   The heavens are yours, and the earth is yours; everything in the world is yours--you created it all. ~ Psalm 89:11 (NLT)   Photos: Cherry blossom trees; Saucer Magnolia Norfolk Botanical Garden

Heavenly Father thank You that when  You shine Your light on my secret fears I become fearless.   Scribbling SpiritualSand "Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed: Is it not to be set on a lamp stand: For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.” Mark 4:21-22 Photo: Spring Grove, Va.

Dry Place?

Image
On a recent walk through one of my favorite parks, I observed this Canada Goose feeding and drinking in the midst of what seemed to be a unusually dry place. I too have been in seemingly dry places and my Heavenly Father has provided food and drink from unusual sources. For that I am always grateful. What about you? “I am going to do something new. It is already happening. Don't you recognize it? I will clear a way in the desert. I will make rivers on dry land.” ~ Isaiah 43:19 ( GWT ) This post is linked to  Scribbling Spiritual Sand

Me:  Father, did you say come? Heavenly Father: Trust me my child, I created  the winds ... Come! Scripture verse for this weeks prompt from  Scribbling Spiritual Sand So He (Jesus) said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”” Matthew 14: 29-30 Photo:  View of the ocean - Sarah Constant Beach Park, Ocean View, Va.

Sunsets III

Image
All my readers should be aware by now of my addiction to sunrises and sunsets. Last Friday on the eve of approaching New Year at approximately 6pm, I had the pleasure of capturing this sunset in the parking lot of my neighborhood shopping center. The photos were taken one minute apart. I pray that you enjoy the splash of splendor as much I as I did.   “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky displays what his hands have made.” ~ Psalm 19:1 (GWT)
