Bird Nest

Image
This bird nest was given to me by my friend Joyce who knows of my love for creation and its amazing Creator. She lives on a farm and the nest is made from twigs and hair from her horses. It amazes me to think that our   Heavenly Father gave such wisdom to birds. I trust that you enjoy these two intricate views as much as I enjoyed capturing them. I know every bird on the mountains, and all the animals of the field are mine~ Psalm 50:11 Kindly lift click three times for larger views.

Another Amazing Sunset

Image
Sunsets never cease to amaze me. This one  dazzled me as I exited Wal-Mart on Thursday evening. It lasted only about five minutes and seemed to allow me just enough time to capture and share it’s amazing beauty. Can you imagine the possibility of knowing the Creator that creates such extravagant splendor ? I join Job as he said: “I had only heard about you before, but now I have seen you with my own eyes”. ~ Job 42:5 And what an amazing experience!

Seen

Image
Seeing them through the wood, these Double-crested Cormorant and this Brown Pelican still captured my attention.   We too are seen by and always capture the attention of a loving Heavenly Father. The LORD's eyes are on those who fear him, on those who wait with hope for his mercy. ~ Psalm 33:18 Photo:  Mount Trashmore Park Kindly left click three times on photo for larger view

Another Wonder of Creation

Image
The book The Birds of the World states: “birds evolved from reptiles at least 150,000,000 years ago and possibly even earlier.” Genesis 1:21 states: “So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird--each producing offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.” During a recent visit to my favorite park, I was delighted to admire and capture this stately Brown Pelican. From Reptile to this beauty? I think I will choose to believe and accept the latter statement as fact. What do you say? National Georgaphic/Pelicans   Mount Trahsmore Park   K indly left cl ic k 3 time for larger view of photos

Be Still

Image
On a recent afternoon stop at my favorite park, I observed these Cormorants taking an afternoon stop also. It’s always good on a busy day if possible, to locate a scenic stop, rest and be still before moving on with the tasks ahead of us.   "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth ... In quietness and confidence is your strength.   " ~ Psalm 46:10/Isaiah 30:15 Mount Trashmore Park   Kindly left click 3 times on photos for larger view.
