In The Midst of the Storm

My nephew Timothy captured this Great Egret on Sunday as it seemed to be standing strong during Sandy’s 41 mph winds. Thanks Tim, I thought it  great example of what my reactions should be during the storms of life ~ stand ... then  rise above  them!

“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” ~ Isaiah 43:2 (NLT)

He got some great shots, Merle. And you brought it home with your metaphor. Thanks for sharing! Photography was probably the last thing I would have been thinking in Sunday's weather.
